Reduce Your Average College Graduate Debt Now!

With the price of college skyrocketing, the average college student loan debt is $25,250 and rising!  When you  graduate high school, no one ever lets you know that OVER 38% OF STUDENTS WILL TAKE OUT OVER $7,100 in loans.

After college, most students say what if….  What if I knew how to be prepared for college, what if I knew how much it was going to cost, what if someone would have said “You need $40,000 – $80,000 for school to survive without debt.”  People have said it, but not the right ones.  High School counselors don’t even mention it, some parents don’t mention it, and your financial aid officer doesn’t mention it because all of their jobs are to try and get you into the best school possible (Not Really What you want to hear right?).  If you want to hear the whole truth try A Complete Guide to Funding a College Education.  It offers a step-by-step program through the education funding process.  They offer a free 37 Way Book and a great membership to assist students in obtaining the education they deserve without incurring tons of the costs.

My goal is to help you reduce your debt tremendously by taking charge of your life and  taking advantage of opportunities such as grants, scholarships, and finding a job.  There are hundreds if not thousands of scholarships out there that students and parents can research and win to get the money you need to succeed.  One of the tools that I have used in the past is the 10 Step Guide for free Scholarship Money.  It offers tools on how to write quality scholarship applications to help assist in bringing in the money you need to lower college debt.

Work, Jobs, Hard Work, whatever you want to call it, you need to do it.  Every extra penny you bring in is money you can put towards paying for college, paying off loans, and making it through life.  While in high school, mow yards, work at a grocery store, or even be a personal assistant.  Learn a skill or trade that will make you valuable for years to come, not just for “right now.”  One huge thing I have started seeing people do is create websites, blogs, or informational posts.  This is and can be work, and can bring in a significant amount of money.  In order to do this you must first get a Website Address.  I personally have always used GoDaddy.com.  They have reasonable prices and great customer service and work well for getting your name out to the public.  The next thing you need to do is get a Web hosting Account for your website from HostGator.com. This is who I use and they come highly recommended by myself and numbers of reviewers.

I will not give a ton of information on Blogging, Website Creation, or anything of that nature because that is not what this site is about.  If you want to know more about Blogging try this.  Also if you are interested in creating a website, this is the product that I normally use for my other websites.  If you are looking for some websites to try and get some information on before starting all of this, ViperChill and Retireat21 are two great informational websites, with tons of information.

In my honest opinion there is only one thing that is worse than having college graduate debt and this is not being able to pay it when you graduate.  There are countless stories all over the internet of young people getting done with school and not finding a job or not making enough money to support themselves.  There are are only a few options if you are stuck in this mess.  One is search harder or search for a new job that either pays you something or pays you more.  The second option which isn’t viable on most accounts because if you file for bankruptcy federal student loans will not be dissolved.  The final option which is what I suggest is taking a look at Student Loan Blueprint which is a help guide on consolidation from a former student loan collector.  This is a great tool for students that have Federal Student Loans because you must pay those off, you will not  get forgiveness.
